In March of 2019 I went to Lollapalooza, a music festival that take place in O’Higgins Parks in Santiago.
One of the musicians I saw
that day was Troye Sivan, he is an Australian-South African singer and
songwriter and his songs are generally pop and Troye have
two albums (Blue Neighborhood, Bloom) and various EPs and singles. My
favorite performance of him that day was his song Animal.
I also saw the English band “The 1975” a band of
pop rock that consist four members: Matthew Healy (lead vocalist), Adam
Hann , Ross MacDonald and George Daniel (drummer/
producer). The band origin’s was in 2002 in Cheshire when they were still
teenagers and attending high school, in the actually the band have four studio
albums: The 1975 (2013), I Like It When You Sleep, for
You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It (2016), A Brief
Inquiry into Online Relationships (2018) and the most recent Notes
on a Conditional Form (2020). I really fan of this band and I remember
to know the lyrics of all the songs, and this was my favorite concert of the
day.
Lollapalooza 2019 is the
only festival I have ever been to and it was very exciting and tiring, only for
two performances I was able to stand up in the front and by the end of the day
I listened to Artic Monkeys from afar and sitting down due to fatigue. I don't
remember much about the atmosphere but was a really good experience and I hope
to repeat it someday.
